Step 1 - Understanding Your Objectives and Obstacles
Every assignment starts with understanding your objectives and the current challenges facing the business. We will invest an agreed upon time to get to know your business, your people and your vision well before we scope a project or accept a contract. After all…the better we understand your business, the more effective our solutions will be.

Step 2 – Assessment and Recommendations
Recommendations made without understanding the current situation often result in wasted time, energy and money. As part of our Scope of Work/Services Proposal, we provide the following, all before engaging in a contract:

• Our understanding of your current situation
• A confirmation of your desired objectives
• Our assessment of your situation and potential risks
• Recommendations to help your business meet the objective identified in Step 1
• Timelines, required investments, and options for implementation

Step 3 - Project Implementation
Upon agreement, Sextant holds a “kick-off” meeting to officially engage others in the project and identify time-critical issues or barriers to the project. We can (and often do) take full responsibility for project execution so that our client’s personnel can concentrate on their daily functions. Unlike most consultants, Sextant feels that our job is only finished once your goals are achieved, not simply when the plan is written. This is why we regularly provide implementation assistance, training, coaching, and tools to effectively execute strategies.
